Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Fortinet Network Engineer with strong experience in Azure networking, enterprise routing, VPN, DNS, and hybrid cloud environments. The role will focus on troubleshooting complex network issues, supporting cloud connectivity, and improving network reliability and resiliency.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex Azure and hybrid cloud networking issues.
• Resolve routing, BGP, VPN, DNS, firewall, and connectivity problems.
• Analyze route propagation, effective routes, asymmetric routing, and failover scenarios.
• Support connectivity across Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments.
• Troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN, IPSec, and DNS issues.
• Validate HA, DR, resiliency, and network failover configurations.
• Review and troubleshoot existing Terraform configurations.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Recommend improvements to network reliability, availability, and performance.

Required Skills

• Strong Azure Networking experience, including VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, Application Gateway, and API Management.
• Strong BGP, routing, route propagation, and network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Azure Private DNS, conditional forwarding, split-horizon DNS, and BIND.
• Hands-on experience with Site-to-Site VPN and IPSec.
• Experience with Azure-to-AWS and Azure-to-on-premises connectivity.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot existing Terraform code.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• FortiGate / Fortinet experience.
• AKS networking.
• Linux networking.
• HA/DR and failover testing experience.
